Perimeter Security: Drawing Up Borders Before Putting Them Down

7th September 2022, 13:00 – 14:30 CEST

The shift to remote work is just the physical reflection of something that every company has dealt with on a digital level for a few years now: the disintegration of the workspace. As both people and companies are connected to an ever-increasing number of other businesses, the identity of the formerly mentioned becomes highly valuable to malicious entities. A simple phishing mail may grant a hacker access to the entire digital life of a person. Likewise, this same mail can grant access to an entire ecosystem of companies. Our perimeters are fading, and it is painstakingly hard to maintain control of remote workers and chain partners. Both the walls of your office and your fire walls will not suffice.

This episode focuses on methods and strategies that have created some sense of order in an increasingly entropic security environment. Two keynote speakers and an interview will share their learnings and, more importantly, their shortcomings.

Hosted by:

Vicente Pastor Perez
CISO, European Defence Agency,
Former CISO of NATO

Jan Groenewold
